Desafios éticos na educação mediada por TDICS

RESUMO

O tema deste trabalho remete às questões éticas subjacentes ao emprego das Tecnologias Digitais de Informação e Comunicação (TDICs) por professores e alunos. A pesquisa teve como objetivo conhecer os desafios éticos que se apresentam para professores e alunos como protagonistas do processo ensino-aprendizagem mediado pelo emprego das TDICs. Seus objetivos específicos foram: descrever os fundamentos do emprego das TDICs no processo ensino-aprendizagem como recursos mediadores de base tecnológica; conhecer os cenários contemporâneos relacionados à educação e suas implicações éticas no que tange à utilização das TDICs como recursos mediadores do trabalho educacional; apresentar uma reflexão sobre as implicações dessas questões no processo ensino-aprendizagem, do ponto de vista das adequações e procedimentos a serem adotados para que o uso das TDICs esteja em consonância com os requisitos éticos do trabalho docente. No que tange à metodologia utilizada, trata-se de um trabalho do tipo bibliográfico, baseada na pesquisa e seleção de conteúdos publicados, apresentados na forma de relatos de experiências pedagógicas ou de estudos teóricos sobre o tema, caracterizando-se ainda como uma pesquisa exploratória. Os resultados alcançados permitiram compreender a dimensão ética do trabalho pedagógico relacionado ao emprego das TDICs como recurso auxiliar no ensino, evidenciando que tanto professores como alunos precisam ser qualificados para utilizar essas tecnologias, o que pressupõe o alinhamento da prática pedagógica às responsabilidades na condução do ensino de forma a evitar danos e riscos para os alunos no que se refere à sua imagem, direito de personalidade e preservação da sua intimidade. De outra parte, pressupõe a necessária orientação e sensibilização desses discentes sobre os limites da sua liberdade e possibilidades de ação e decisão no âmbito das atividades educacionais que têm por base a diversificação de conteúdos, formas de acesso e uso de dados por intermédio das TDICs.

ABSTRACT

The theme of this work refers to the ethical issues underlying the use of Digital Information Communication Technologies (DICTs) by teachers and students. The research aimed to understand the ethical challenges that arise for teachers and students as protagonists of the teaching-learning process measured by the use of DICTs. Its specific objectives were: to describe the fundamentals of using DICTs in the teaching-learning process as technology-based mediating resources; know the contemporary scenarios related to education and their ethical implications regarding the use of DICTs as mediating resources in educational work; present a reflection on the implications of these issues in the teaching-learning process, from the point of view of adjustments and procedures to be adopted so that the use of DICTs is in line with the ethical requirements of teaching work. Regarding the methodology used, it is a bibliographical work, based on the research and selection of published content, presented in the form of reports of pedagogical experiences or theoretical studies on the subject, also characterized as an exploratory research. The results achieved allowed us to understand the ethical dimension of pedagogical work related to the use of DICTs as an auxiliary resource in teaching, showing that both teachers and students need to be qualified to use these technologies, which presupposes the alignment of pedagogical practice with the responsibilities in conducting teaching. in order to avoid damage and risks to students in terms of their image, personality rights and preservation of their privacy. On the other hand, it presupposes the necessary guidance and awareness of these students about the limits of their freedom and possibilities of action and decision within the scope of educational activities that are based on the diversification of content, forms of access and use of data through DICTs.
