The PNASPI, which governs the health of indigenous peoples, recommends that the principle of differentiated care be implemented in CASAI. Thus, this work aims to analyze the concrete actions carried out in the CASAI/PIN and whether they comply with the principle of differentiated attention. The guiding questions that favored this research were: How is CASAI organized, structured, and functions under the principle of differentiated attention? Has CASAI met the principle of differentiated attention? How does CASAI provide indigenous services? The research is qualitative in nature, using the dialectical historical materialism method to discuss the theme. Interviews and bibliographic research were used as techniques, so that we could have an overview of how CASAI/PIN complies with the principle of differentiated attention. We conclude that CASAI/PIN, despite the advances, needs to include more differentiated attention in its care, allowing the indigenous people to receive equitable care and to feel part of the institution.
Key words: CASAI; Differentiated attention; PNASPI.
